I am using the Trial in my classroom to help teach 20th century New Jersey History.  After reading this book as a group, the students in my class have developed an appetite for researching events around this crime.

Does anyone know of any other books that they could use to discover more?

We are using The Trial in my fifth grade classroom. It has been a huge hit with the emotional support children as well as the learning support kids. To introduce the book, I downloaded pictures from Jen's link to the NJ Police Museum and put them on a chart. Next, I used these pictures have the class make predictions based on the pictures. This was extremely successful. I want to warn you about one picture. There is a picture of the remains of the Lindberg baby. Last year I showed the website on the projector and did not heed the warning before showing the baby to the class. I will not do that again! Thanks for the forum!K.Royal
